They are trying to change this, but yes in general it always favors the mother.

Case and point, my parents got divorced when I was 3. My mom got full custody of me and my sister...even though she didn't have a job, or any way to support us, they just made my dad pay child support.

Needless to say, when I turned 14 I was able to move out and live with my dad again, but yes, the courts are fuggin backwards with this.

Also, women are cold calculating heartless bitches who stomp on guys who are actually decent and fall for complete douche bags. You want to be treated like a princess? Don't spit in the face of every true prince that comes by.

But there is in real life, and that's why the status quo is retarded and unworkable.

lol yea i'm mad at society and more specifically women.

My cousin had a very similar case. His gf at the time already had lost two kids to the state when he decided unprotected sex was a great idea. She decided to give up his daughter too because she was a real loser. He stepped up and wanted to care for his daughter and be a real father. He had to go through like 4 months of supervised visitations and court cost to get custody of his own child becasue they were not married. He did truely prove himself to be a real man and I finally got to tell him that face to face a few weeks ago. His daughter is beautiful and you can see it in his eyes that she is his world and I was so proud that he stepped up but the bullshit he had to go through was completely fucked up and should have been a no brainer for the courts, but he pushed through becasue it was what he knew he had to do.

TLDR - men step up and become real men and the courts treat them like criminals because the mother was a cunt.

No, there isn't a gap anyone will recognize as significant. But I don't really want to talk about your relationship specifically, since I've got no business making any presumptions about your married life, hypothetical or otherwise.

I do think it's unfortunate that custody battles invariably favor the mother until proof of (gross) unfitness is provided. But divorce lawyers/judges aren't the same as contract lawyers/judges, sadly. Probably because family courts requires people who aren't robots.

Don't get me wrong, I love contract lawyers. They're just about as empathetic as accountants. I submit that they're good at what they do specifically because law and emotions aren't supposed to go together.

Women are just crazy, that's not to say that men aren't. As Usdk said, women are easy. Which just goes along with what Aestu said about playing with their emotions except without the goal of sex.

Sex is overrated unless you have an emotional connection with the person in which case it can be amazing. I don't see why everyone walks around like sex is a serious goal, it's not.

A girlfriend would be sweet but thus far I've been highly disappointed and I doubt I could ever find a girl that I was truly happy with. You know, a best friend who just also happens to have a (natural) vagina that is somewhat intelligent, has a good personality, and isn't horrid looking.

Say what you will, but I'd rather cuddle then have sex. Who knows though, maybe in a few years my opinion will change. For now though, I'll settle for the single life as it less stressful.
