I recently started something similar. I just compliment most that I see(I don't compliment whores or overly "beautiful" women, they get enough compliments as is) and walk away but every now and then I get a stage 5 clinger and I have to run for it. Other than that, typically goes one of the two ways you said.

I don't know man, I think the next generation is pretty much fucked regardless of what we do. I don't think I even want to have kids in today's world.
