I strongly agree with the latter part. Real men are unaffected and unassuming; they don't care whether others see them as "manly" or not, they're just focused on doing their thing.
I would never carry a woman's purse or anything like that; I see that as effeminate. Real men don't bother with that sort of stereotyped behavior, or flatter female vanity. They expect women to be self-respecting and not needing to be coddled.
Women who want to be seen as the equals of men while maintaining all the prerogatives of female subordination are the most profound sexists of all.
