i would bring your attention to the zoolander theorem, "moisture is the essence of wetness." moisture is water. ergo, water is the essence of wetness.

by saying "water is wet", i am not saying "water is covered in water" although that is also in a sense true. i'm saying that you cannot have wetness without water (or liquid). water IS wet. without water, there is no wet.

it's a much deeper, more existential statement about the fluid than you realize.

now, obviously i am taking poetic license by summarizing all liquid in it's most common form, that of water. but i think i am allowed a bit of poetic license for such a deep, philosophical pondering.

it's not an attention span issue, it's just pure curiosity. weena mentioned how gnome rogues were superior, dek stated that it was obvious by using the wet water theory, and then the thread morphed into a debate on whether or not water was wet. i then asked how this could turn into a scientific debate.

And how is its age relative to what you're trying to say? Things don't have to be younger than 4chan to be posted on it. It was a simple reference to the fact that this isn't an imageboard.

With that said, if you can back up your insult with something other than a semi-comical image, that would be lovely.

The first post concerning water being wet caused the tangent due to a historical post that was between Dek and Aestu, which is completely valid in this deja vu thread.

Perhaps if you were around longer, you would have realized that and not formed your own opinions about what this forum or thread means.

we were neither actually debating anything, nor having a scientific argument about anything.

we were being silly. get a sense of humor.
