I haven't perfected the movement system. I really have little to no idea how to code it so I took the script from a tutorial. Was well commented so I went through it and changed values to suit my environment. You wanna know the funny part though? The spikes only register being touched when you're between them as the colliders are the mesh themselves which actually gives you far more leeway on that last section than I intended.

Are you a developer by trade or just in your spare time?
It was in spare time at first, but I'm actually taking classes on the software now so I'm hoping to actually make this a career. I'm also doing 3D modeling and just design in general.
EDIT: Also in unrelated news. I completed Super Meat Boy's Dark World last night after a several hour long play session. I refused to sleep until I had beaten it. This is important because the game directly influenced me to create SUPER FUN GAME AWESOME YEAH! I did so with a grand total of 4481 deaths. Reporting back when I achieve 100% game completion.
