You're all pre-med, right? Sorry if I forget/got confused.

Anyway, I got thinking about this in a really weird way. See, I was thinking large doses of salt and niacin could be used to cheat a polygraph by making skin temperature and perspiration so abnormal it would be impossible to get a clear reading. I took a massive overdose of niacin a few years back, and it did what it does - makes your skin get warm and flushed.

But then I thought about it more, and I thought, you know, girls feel amazing after they get a tan. So what if a girl took a huge dose of niacin before sex? Would that be pleasurable for the man - all the warmth of a tan without exposure to the sun?

...Totally putting the cart before the horse here...

What do you think of the idea, in principle?

Difference being, niacin isn't psychoactive - the partner's skin actually would become pleasantly warmer.

well, since many dormant perspiration related hormones are activated during sexual intercourse, you shouldn't be having a problem with warmth. i wouldn't advise severe doses of niacin before/during/after extended cardiovascular activity (read: sex). large amounts of niacin can counteract potassium levels which can induce arhythmias.

perhaps i don't quite understand the question. you want to know if you can make your skin warmer for intercourse?

you could use niacin for that purpose, though i wouldn't suggest it. the flushing and the added heat from intercourse would become quite uncomfortable. there might be a "sweet spot" in dosage, but i'm fairly certain that your penis (or, more specifically the baroreceptors in it) wouldn't be able to discern the difference in heat. not to mention, niacin almost exclusively affects cells located in the epidermal layer, whereas vaginal tissue is mainly comprised of subdermal tissues.
