I teared up a bit when my dad put his cat down finally. Known that cat forever and he used to sleep or sit in the most awkward positions ever. He'd sit up against the arm of a couch like, with his back against it, and feet just kind of danging off to the side or on the cushion. CAT THINGS HE'S A HUMAN.

My cat's gettin pretty old and I dread the day she goes I've had her since I was like 6.

also stealing this because any bro can admit when he tears up. even a year later i still tear up from time to time when i think of my best friend being dead.

You know, the only time I've ever cried about someone or something else was when I was six. I was watching Short Circuit 2, and the thugs started beating the robot up. I was bawling my fucking eyes out for at least ten minutes.

This one time I stubbed my toe while watering my spice garden and I only cried for 20 minutes.

Last time I remember crying was when I was alone in the hospice with my dying grandmother. I had to keep the family cool and collected since my dad isn't in the picture and I was the closest immediate family member to her, so I visited her twice a week (still 45 minutes away) for two months until she went critical and they moved her into the hospice.

We knew she was going to die, so we each took our turns alone with her to talk about different things and to say our final goodbyes and I busted out crying for about half a hour straight alone in the room with her. She died about 4 hours later.

Hospitals are the worst I'm sure. I don't think I'll ever forget the day my best friend died because we all got called and drove to Ohio where the accident was. Sitting outside a room just waiting for it and knowing there isn't a god damn thing anyone can do is beyond shit.

Would've been some solace if we got to do the whole goodbye thing, but he never woke up and passed after a few hours.

It's worse when they die in your arms waiting on an ambulance.

I thankfully haven't had anyone close die
