I realize you like that word Aestu, but believe it or not it doesn't apply to anything you've used it towards so far.
Thermodynamics has no bearing on theology other than to disprove a lot of what religion has put out there. That however wasn't the point.
The point was that science cannot explain the origin or even why we aren't a thin layer of energy. The best idea being kicked around, string theory/multiverse, requires as much a leap of faith as any religion considering it's made by men, supported by what shouldn't even in the loosest form of the word be considered "evidence", and is untestable. The point was science doesn't have an answer either.
And I really don't see a reason to disprove any theology, as it's their job to prove their doctrine is true, not the other way around. If you want to prove the flying spaghetti monster is lord over all, that's fine, but me not being able to disprove it's existence is not proof that it does.
The point is while scientists, theologians, philosophers, and mathematicians will continue to seek the unknown and maybe in time the truth will be revealed; but in the mean time, while they try to sort it out, I suggest everyone else just pick something that works for them and act civil.
For me, that's none of the above, but I'm open to any new arguments. I don't believe in God(s) or a self actuated event horizon, but I believe there is something beyond metaphysical or at the least beyond our understanding of the laws of physics. Is it sentient? Don't know, don't care. I'm just going to spend my time trying to enjoy the time I have, help others worse off than me. Why look a gift horse in the mouth?
Long on words, short on substance; the proof God doesn't exist is that we know where the lie came from, and it has no basis in fact.
Someone who believes in a lie because it makes him feel better is morally incorrect.
