Thank god, I thought this was the "LOL TRINKETS SHOULD WORK WITH DISARM AND SILENCES!" thread.

This sounds logical to me. I kind of like the idea of the range weapon getting the weapon chain though because that's Rogues, Warriors, and Hunters. They're the only ones who have really limited moves that don't require a weapon.

Bringing all disarms down to a baseline 5 seconds would be good too.

another idea was having it as a wrist enchant, a weapon enchant, or a glove enchant.

the only people that would NOT work for is a leatherworking two hand weapon using engineer.

Well I saw that but it's meh. Someone said that engineering enchants stack with normal ones now anyways, not sure if true or not.

Hate disarms? Roll a druid.

I need to start a "WTF PARRY?" thread. Every fucking animal in the game except druids in bear/cat form can parry. That's just bullshit.

Yet 0% chance to parry...unlike every other dumb animal in the game.

I'm not saying that druids need (or even want) parry, I'm saying it's dumb for other animals to be able to do it. CONSISTENCY MUST BE ACHIEVED!!!

I like how the discussion there completely ignores cooldown times, and acts as if spell lockout doesn't exist.

My lil warrior is wrecking faces in bgs as prot. Charging an arms warrior, disarming, and beating face into a bloody pulp is so much damn fun. Oh, and I think I wet mysefl when I got spell reflection, lol.

Warlock cast fear ->Cydor cast spell reflection -> warlock is feared -> Cydor is laughing so hard he cant attack the lock -> Cydor cleans up mess, takes bg rez, finds lock for round two.

Game hasn't been about actually landing your counterspells since BC. WotLK is about silences because you don't need to be good enough to actually hit them while they're casting (unless you're a rogue/warrior/shaman, and saying they need to be good is laughable) thanks to everyone dying in the 5 seconds afforded by most silences.

Fuck I hate this expansion.

More relevantly, disarms most definitely last too long. 5 sec for everyone sounds good to me, since they can't honestly expect people to keep using weapon chains at this point.

You know what?
There aren't disarms OR silences in TF2.
