Ignore option where we can ignore a particular person's posts and won't even have to read them. Similar to the wow forums had.

After reading the particular suicide thread there are certain persons I feel I need to just avoid reading anything they type to keep my sanity.

There is actually a way to do this on php I believe. I will look into this some more on my own site and will be posting back here if anything is found.

Although... I hope this is all just blowing steam...

I searched for a mod we used a few years back that I have not had to bust out since... but the link was broken and no longer exists. However you can search for these yourself at phpBB.

I will continue to look as well.

http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/789
that will allow for the "ignore user" option

edit:
http://www.crescendo.net/software/phpbb-ignore/
another option, i'll try and see which is easiest to implement

edit #2:
both require adding tables to the database. however, the first looks easier. make the sysadmin do it for you
