I wouldn't be comfortable with my wife making porn, but assuming that you won't measure up because you don't have a circus-act wang is way off. If you're married or in a relationship you can give her something the other guys can't.

I used to work in a video rental place in high school and we had an adult section in the back room. It was cool at first, a young guy while room full of porn, and this was before it was as easy to get as it is now (1998ish). We would also get industry magazines and on slow days I'd read them. Mostly ads but a bunch of interviews with the stars. It really turned me off porn after finding out how many of the actresses were raped and abused as children. It certainly wasn't all of them, but it was a lot.

I met this couple who played WoW with me on my old server and I became pretty close with them. Over time I learned the woman in the relationship was actually into porn and she's been filmed several times and she's been photographed dozens more. The man was a photographer and a web developer, so he used his connections to get her into the industry. She's not a big name but she's out there... and she's not bad looking, either.

Different people have different values.
Those people that are married to porn stars...whether they are also in the industry or not...don't feel that sex on film with strangers violates any sort of trust in the relationship. It is their job...not something they are doing for fun.

I am not totally on board with those values, but who am I to say what is wrong or right?

I will say one thing though, definitely respect that much more than just banging random people behind your spouse's back. The worst thing I can imagine about sleeping with someone who is not your spouse, is the lying and deceit.

In all honesty, I'm sure I could date a pornstar, for a while. The sex would obviously be the best you've ever had. However, I'm not sure I could ever "love" a pornstar. It would be too painful to have those feelings then see her banging some huge guy.

The only sucky thing about being married to a pornstar would be when she gets a little older and is no longer working.
