My piece of shit voyager is coming to an end, and I need a new cell phone. The main things I'm looking for in it are:

Keyboard
Touch screen
Internet

Of course most people will say that's exactly what a Droid is, which is something I have in mind, but I've also heard a lot of bad reviews about it. Let's hear some thoughts on new phones.

The new BB Torch is touch + keyboard. I don't know anything about it other than it uses the new BB os which uses WebKit so the web browser won't (shouldn't) be complete shit any more. That and the Droid are the only 2 phones I can think of off the top of my head with a physical keyboard and touchscreen.

Brykon we all know your only two contacts are your parents. Now stop wasting their money and just buy a walkie talkie.

What's your carrier?

Cuz I'd suggests the HTC Surround if your looking for a kewl phone, but like a BB Torch if your looking for something practical

I've heard the BB Torch is a pile of turd and have a coworker in love with her Droid.

But I have a BB Tour so I'm like a caveman commenting on fire, idk.

I recently got the Samsung Fascinate and not sure how I ever lived without it. The only downfall to this thing is that the droid facebook app is garbage (though it did just get a much needed patch in the past week or so).

I've got a Droid X and I love it. I wish the still-shot camera was better, especially when zooming, but it works well enough. It doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard that flips out like the Droid (2) but it has Swype which is hella fast for texting. (Took me an hour or so to learn how to use it like a pro.) It also has a nice Voice to Text system which works really well as long as you don't have socks in your mouth when you speak. I get about two days of battery out of a single charge with moderate use. It has a browser. It makes calls. It's pretty good.

My phone is almost flawless. Scrolling through the apps or contact list isn't as smooth as normal sometimes. My wifes Droid X will freeze sometimes, too. A battery pull fixes that, tho.

Oh, Droid X still doesn't have Froyo like they said it was going to get. That's a huge disappointment for me. :(
