fall asleep at 2
fire alarm goes off at 4
stand outside for 30 minutes in like -5c in a sweater and shorts waiting for people tof igure out no fire
fall asleep at 5
alarm goes off again at 6
another 30 minutes, i brought a coat yay
asleep at 7
ANOTHER alarm at 945-i have class in 15 minutes and research paper is due then
now im sitting in class, fuck tired, no shower, no food and i have another essay to write for tommorow and its my busiest day of classes all week.

When I was in college I would do my research early but I wouldn't write a single sentence if it wasn't the night before. The few times I tried to be a good student and work ahead of time I would end up doing poorly, the times I would stay up all night writing I would get much, much better grades. Granted, the biggest papers I would be writing were 15 pages, and it was primarily history or social work.

Not once did I write a paper earlier than the night before, though I was in a similar boat with nothing exceeding 15-20 pages, also primarily History.

I write very fast though, I'm just hugely unproductive until I really need to get it done.
