I stuck with Italian. I refused to take Spanish at that point because apparently I was the only person in the history of the school to want the combination of Band/Italian.

In 7th grade, I was stuck in a weird mishmash homeroom, with a new transfer student, a girl named Amanda. Both her and I were the only two people in the school with the Band/Italian schedule. As we shared the same schedule, we quickly became friends. Combine that with the yearbook thing and, well, 8th grade was a lot nicer.

I learned how to ask for the location of my pants in high school. ;)

Oh it gets better, I just googled her.

Married on 11/28/2009 to a city firefighter, assigned to Ladder 119 in Brooklyn.

She liked to wear the plastic fireman's hat I got at the award thing. Now that's how you bring it full circle.

Perhaps. I suppose it can happen when someone from any group goes "off the reservation", and suddenly that association gets blamed. Christians. Muslims. Mormons. Atheists. Pro-life. Pro-choice. Too many to name.

Whatever happened to crazy?

Reference this.

I'm just saying that crazy is more often at the root of crazy acts than association with some group. Some Muslims flew planes into buildings on 9-11. Some pro-lifers kill doctors at clinics. These people had/have loose screws. If they had not been affiliated with the groups they were, I still contend they would have done something crazy at some point due to faulty wiring. I'm pretty sure that the majority of Freemasons don't chop up their mothers. Could this nutjob have been teetering on the edge and heard something at his meeting that pushed him over? Sure. However, nothing I read there gives any indication that this is the case (if you exclude some leading journalism.)

P.S. I liked your story.

P.S.S. I played with matches when I was a kid.

Perhaps, but as I said with the reference combined with "playing with fire" indicates otherwise. We've discussed some interesting things, and as you said that one went outside their oath 11 years ago to me... my warning stands. Why do you think they're so intent on listening?

Thanks.

P.S. I named this thread to reference a story involving a long fall down a rabbit hole for a reason.

P.P.S. I still do.
