if we were going for complete grammar, yes. especially if i said "there is," except "there's two" is a commonly accepted informal usage in conversational english.

your move. :]

well, i could turn on my desktop and search through trillian-logs to find when you got on me for using an apostrophe when dealing with possession even though there is no clear standard for what is acceptable and most institutions have chosen what you deemed unacceptable

Yes, you could.

i can search two computers right now (could search more if they were on and (assuming local) telnet-enabled)

also, just because something was accepted hundreds of years ago does not make it proper now
shall i go fuck my sister and use the word "thy" when describing it?

But it'd be wrong, since I can refer to thy sister, but you saying thy would be someone else's sister.

This had me curious as well.

In Aestu's e-mail, he copy/pasted text from an in-game conversation, but they could claim that never occurred (IE: "SS or it didn't happen").

There's two attachments to the email.

What do they contain? I am certain 1 of them is the application form that isn't in-game, isn't on the forums, but on their website that you have to create an account to view (Seriously, I was curious and poked around real quick. I can't find anti-semitism or hate speech of any kind and didn't feel like making an account to see the application page). I have never heard about Blizzard extending that far to punish people.

He didn't say anything anti-semitic in that recruitment thread, so why would they punish him for stuff he never did?

So what is the other screenshot? Could it be the only worth-while evidence? Because all I see is an e-mail with a sensationalist title, a bunch of misleading claims, smoke, and mirrors along with an empty-threat CC to a bunch of major news outlets that won't look twice when all I want to see is some fucking jew hate.

Also, you should probably know that the associated press specifically states to not send attachments in e-mail messages

My bet is that absolutely nothing will come of it.

Still, worth a try.

I saw that. It's not a problem. They'll simply disregard the attachments, which consist of an SS of the app form and an SS of the forum ban.

I just noticed they deleted every post I ever made; I think that's typically something they do on last warning.

Thinking about it more, I believe this situation is winnable, and an excellent opportunity to humiliate and disgrace the CM team.

If their initial response is not favorable - and I doubt it will be - I intend to escalate and publicize the issue through letter writing.

It is, when I got perma'd they did the same thing.

When I got perma'd a year or so ago, they deleted all of my posts. But why would they do it for a final warning? It's not like you're actually "banned" yet. It's either a new (dumb) policy or a glitch that came about from a lack of testing in regard to the new forum system.

Oh, and I happened to notice the CCs for your response message. The AP and ACLU are your best bets, no doubt. If you get a clear response from Blizzard that upholds their decision and stance, this is definitely going to escalate into a full story. I wish you luck, good sir.
