it apparently doesn't take much. people always take a few days off at the release of a new expac. though being able to hit the new level cap in less then 12 hours of gameplay is kind of sad on the design part.
I thought I remembered reading, and this was a while ago so it probably changed, that the developers where trying to make the grind to 85 take as long if not longer than it did to get from 70-80. The official world first to 80 was around 27 hours, a lock that had pocket healers and people bringing him food, water, and reagents when needed. Athene, that dumbfuck pally from Belgium or wherever used a glitch and got banned, again, at 17 hours but he lost that achievment and I believe his group got banned as well. For Iapeto to hit 85 in 9 hours when I know he was grinding like a fucking champ is truely a dissapointment in the difficulty this expansion will end up providing and I have a feeling there will be alot of people leaving the game if this is what is to come.
Unless they are going to come out with another expansion in a year in stead of 2 then we have a long drawn out time to deal with raiding after five levels.
9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.
