It's okay, you can make fun of him for a Mongoose'd Despair and leather shoulders.

Please do! or at least bring up the green shoulders that wiped bwl at 70, but I'm pretty sure Monotheist will.

Tehra was the 3rd character I levelled to 70. Synth was on proudmoore then, in SWP, and Tehra was a Mr Potatohead geared toon.

edit: @Azelma: if I really didn't like you, you wouldn't have been in the guild.

I was simply stating that what you so eloquently summed up, that you burned bridges and were essentially asking for a karmic payback regarding your name on one server of hundreds.

Karma is a bitch. True that.

Tehra wrote:
Oh, and I was right. I did take your name after you went to eponine, but mostly because I had intended on making a forum post from it for shits and giggles, but decided against it and deleted the character. Someone else just took it over after you lost it again.

lol okay...and I was supposed to know this how?

Tehra wrote:
Oh, and I don't care about being "better" than anyone. I just know people can be better, and should stop worrying about trivial shit. As far as cryptic goes, I'm cryptic at this time due to certain constraints that are slowly being lifted. Of course, that'll be labelled as cryptic, but if it wasn't addressed, then that'd be labelled cryptic.

Gotta love a Catch V, if you can.

You know, I was thinking about this quite a bit as I was walking home from the office just now (I came in to finish a bit of work, and grats, you got in my head).

You know, I really did/still do appreciate you giving me a "home" in Echelon after I so ungraciously sullied my own name. However, Echelon was never a good loving home, as I was always treated like a bastard step child.

Everything I did was either mocked, or simply dismissed. You, Krunkz, and others just sat in your Ivory Towers mocking the poor village idiot Azelma. I get a new piece of gear it was no "grats", but "carried" and not in the playful sense...no no. Any time I'd say something, I'd get mocked, dismissed, or simply ignored. Many people in that guild (save a few who knew me better) seemed to hold the opinion that I knew dick about the game, life, and everything else. What a home it was. In a sense it was probably, as you say, Karma for my past mistakes.

I guess it's hard to break old habits though, isn't it Tehra?

Take a look at this thread...I post something I'm happy about (getting my name back), and while everyone else said "grats" or shared their own naming stories, you just had to come in and pick apart my post, in an attempt to show the world what a stupid whiny bitch I am (or something like that).

Then, you go on to bring out a screenshot and reference my past mistakes ONCE AGAIN. Yes, you've done it before...on this very forum I believe. Despite the fact that I've owned up to them and moved on.

I really worry if you were to ever become a parent...if your child gets in trouble when he's 7, and you help him out a little afterward, you'll be reminding him how he fucked up until he's 67.

So Tehra, please...continue to post screenshots from the past, point out every little mistake I make in a post...or every dumb thing I say. Keep rubbing my nose in it. Perhaps you feel it makes me a better person? I'm sorry, but let me be the first to tell you, it's not helping me. I've just grown tired of it.

That's unfortunately the only evidence I've ever had to support that idea.

Accented E's are for champs.

You had this part out of order:

Owning up and moving on means little when you haven't learned yet.

No, that's the only evidence you've chosen to see. Grats on reclaiming history, either way.

I told you it wasn't me who had the name, and that I did have it for a short period of time when you were obscenely vocal about the person who had your name one night in guild chat. I'd address your other claims about guild chat, but like I said, "chosen to see."

I guess I'm not sure what else there is to learn. I've ceased my troll ways (remember when I used to be a Trade Chat Whore?), refused to get caught up in guild drama (mine and everyone else's), stopped being a loot whore/status queen, and now truly realize what an honor/privilege it is to be in a guild with people who are kind/friendly, and enjoy playing the game with me. It's the kind of thing that can be lost if you don't respect it.

In a twisted way...everything that happened from that forum post, to my experience in Echelon, and beyond helped teach me these lessons.

I feel like I'm a student trying to tell the master that I get it, and I'm ready. Yet, the master keeps saying there's more I need to know...but won't give me any clues. It's quite frustrating lol.

Tehra wrote:

True, there is other evidence. It's not that I don't choose to see it, other things just get in the way far too often.

My descriptions of guild chat events may certainly be exaggerated/biased. That being said, I know exactly how I felt throughout my entire experience there. Didn't you ever wonder why I didn't raid more? I was terrified that if I made 1 mistake, or didn't do enough DPS/HPS i'd get it even more. I guess you never understood what an outsider I felt like.

In any case, this has all veered into areas that are of interest to no one on FUBU. So bleh.

I got over the accented E issue, and the rest of us found it hilarious to see accented E bitching deja vu in gchat.

Unintentional pun made me lol.

To touch upon the part I didn't quote, yes, you've come a long way. Increase the length of your fuse, stop obsessing over trivial things, and ffs stop with the wall of text posts where you drop huge bombs left and right, they remind me too much of your emotional outbursts via in-game mail that resulted from you bottling shit up.

The problem is that I can't be overly direct with any advice given, as it changes life paths without your consent. Ever have answers you can't hand out? There's a whole another level of frustration.

Given that you tend to post about love and seeking a life-term partner, consider the following:

7 years ago this month I started dating a girl who I was friends with for over a year. A couple of months prior, she had ended a bad relationship. She was also told by her doctor she'd never have children due to PCOS. She had brought most of this up when we first started dating, and I told her not to worry about it, that everything would work out for the best.

I really dislike the song "last christmas" because on the very next day after christmas, her paranoid delusions caused her to break up with me. More months pass, I extend an olive branch and she doesn't understand why I could actually forgive her and still want to be friends with her.

We start hanging out from time to time, she has a new boyfriend. I start preparing to move into this house, and a bunch of people come over to help paint. She stays late, one thing leads to another, and she doesn't want to use protection, under the premise that she couldn't get pregnant.

We used protection. I told her to continue using protection since she was going to remain with her boyfriend. "I can't get pregnant" she said to me.

I didn't see her for a while, then one day she showed up at my door. She was pregnant and had no idea how it happened. She made a poor choice thereafter. She came to me again because she felt she had no one else left to turn to, and she felt the impact of such an event consuming her from within.

I fixed that, too. At this point, she finally understood. It cost me my friend, someone I told not to worry.

I honestly hope this was clear enough and not cryptic, but I figured I'd take a page from your book and drop a bomb so this parroting of "pseudo-mysticism" and "cryptic" ends. Pretty sure that'll cause some interesting ripples, so I'm going to go make some popcorn.

Mine is on realID

In a hurry to log in when they made battle.net accounts mandatory I misspelled my own first name. I show up on realID as Willia instead of William. What really sucks is I thought it had to be my billing information or I could have put Gene, the name I go by (middle name) but cannot seem to find someone that will change it and I dont feel like waiting on hold to fix a typo.

Other than the (E)chelon thing, no.

Quote:

Synthanos Blood Elf Paladin 31 Drak'thul
Synthanos Night Elf Death Knight 80 Korgath
Synthanos Human Warlock 70 Proudmoore
Synthanos Night Elf Death Knight 66 Rexxar
Synthanos Orc Death Knight 80 Tortheldrin
Synthanos Tauren Death Knight 57 Tortheldrin

Once upon a time I was the only one of those until sometime right before wrath hit. I still find every DK sporting that name amusing.

Syn thanos: Refusal, Death. Or, "I refuse to die".

At least you didn't name it "NEGROW." You get points for that.

I went all unoriginal on mine and named him Lonchanee (Lon Chaney). I think I may start a Horde alt and play with NK. Should probably do something silly like Goblin priest.

Doesn't surprise me you have no idea haha -- you didn't even remember who I was in WotlK, despite the fact that I'd been in that guild with you for a long time in TBC...and I joined a separate guild that you made after there was a mass exodus from Echelon. I remember I was only in that guild for about a week, as I was given the guild rank of "dumbass" or "terrible" or whatever it was you assigned people who you didn't care to actually raid with or get to know.

Water under the bridge though, my bad for bringing all these silly skeletons out, since it's clear no one was affected but me lol.
