I think there's definitely some truth to this. I think really what every pug needs is a leader. Now when I enter a group the first thing I ask is "has everyone been here before" and then I try to explain things. When I tank on my Paladin it's easier (the Tank is a de-facto leader in any pug setting). However, being a healer leader is possible, and a good alternative, especially if your tank has a slight mental deficiency.

So are you saying players have their rotations/gemming/glyphs/enchants figured out...it's basic awareness and encounter knowledge they lack?
