We should alert the authorities, we've discovered the culprit is Rabid.

So the snow here crapped out and turned into rain overnight. I hate this part of the country. Oh and Rikki, when I lived in NC we got at least a week of decent, and keep in mind I lived in Maine for a while, snow. Maybe 2-3 feet but it did not last very long. We could get a few days of sledding in and some epic snowball fights before it all melted away.

Funny but true story. My brother has two scars on his head that make a perfect cross. He was walking up the hill we lived on and my mom had been scolding a kid for flipping his sled out from under him and sending it flying towards the younger kids. She turned around to answer a question and the sled hit my brother square in the head. About two hours after he got the stitches out he was putting on his snow suit since we got a rare second snow that year and he tripped, hitting the corner of a door frame, and making the second part of the cross. To this day he is not a fan of snow anymore, lol.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.

I love Snow until January 2nd. After that date, snow just sucks and needs to go away.

This. There's a reason to like it prior to and during the holiday season: it's 'magical.' Past that, it's an inconvenience that's cockblocking the spring.

Give it a few more years. Having lived in northern areas getting snow my whole life...I can assure you you will get tired of it.

It was AMAZING as a kid though (which you will unfortunately never be able to experience). Snow days were the best...

I think my favorite memory of snow as a kid was when I was 10.

Any north-easterners may remember it (I was living in Philly at the time). The Blizzard of 1996.

Didn't have school for over a week. Every day was the same:

1. Wake up
2. Call best friend to make sure he and other friends were up
3. Bundle up
4. Go outside and play in snow until lunch
5. Lunch
6. Go Outside and Play in Snow until Dinner
7. Dinner
8. Bed

last winter it snowed hella-hard in raleigh and it shut down the entire city
luckily i was already at a friends house which was walking-distance from a harris teeter
the weekend went as followed:
1. wake up
2. start drinking
3. call friends
4. continue drinking
5. walk to harris teeter to get food + more booze
6. eat + drink
7. call more people
8. drink more
9. stop drinking
10. change our minds and drink
11. stop drinking a second time
12. bundle up and sleep
13. go to 1

The one 1 ft mentioned has an ambiguous number of significant figures, I was being equally ambiguous.

I remember that one, I lived in York. There was another storm in 93 that was bad too. They closed the city down but for some dumb reason the superintendent didn't close the city school, so we walked to school in the roads. We did eventually get some days off and it was freaking awesome.
