Actually, he inflicted it by throwing a pool toy at me when we argued about who won a swim race when we were about eight and ten. He threw it from a good 20 feet away. Incredible aim. I won, for the record. He apparently felt intensely guilty for years after, though he very rarely talked about it and never to me. This is characteristic of his personality.

I'm just saying, if someone were to make certain "accusations" about a Jewish-American leader, he wouldn't be the likely target.

Yes, that would be the original, but I think both greed and stupidity jointly or individually are usually more likely than malice.
