What do you give the most generous guy on his birthday?

A box of noooottttthhhhiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggg.

Right? He wouldn't want anything, and if you gave him something, he'd just give it away, would he not?

Merry Christmas dude. Chin up.
Thank you man, thank you very much. :]

I got a last minute text from a friend. He invited me to have Christmas with his family. Maybe this Christmas will actually be a good one. :)

:D

I got lots of new kitchen equipment, and proof that I'm not screwing my son up.

Not the fattest loot-sack Christmas ever, but one of the best.

I'm stuck with marines on a base as it's my turn to watch over my health clinic.

SO of course i'm playing wow and drinking and watching movies. Well I'm not drinking at the clinic, but I have to go there daily to do stuff even Christmas.

This year was a great one. My son is a little over two years old so he knows what Christmas is all about so the excitement on his face when he opened his presents was awesome.

Things of note for him that we got:

First drum set ( I know some of you are thinking WTF at 2? But if you met my son you would know why :) He is very musically tuned/ very coordinated. So I think this will be a good fit for him.

Lots of How to Train Your Dragon gear including viking helmet shield and toy axe.

Toy Story stuff.....Kid got a lot of loot through the families for sure.

I made out pretty nice as well. The in-laws snagged a big-screen tv that their neighbor was selling so I like my new 57". Isn't new but it's new2me :D

Christmas dinner was awesome. The main event was the wife's lasagna. Nice wine. Great gifts, and high-quality family time. We're very blessed. I sincerely hope you guys are all happy and looking forward to the new year with excitement, as I am.

I got Black Ops but I don't know how to join people's games and that resulted in USD indirectly calling me a fucker, I think. :P

Also got a Donald Driver jersey, some tools, an 18v Impact Driver, Assassins Creed 2: Brotherhood, Alan Wake, NFS: Hot Pursuit, some Affliction/Element/Volcom shirts.

Hooked my father-in-law up with a DS + R4 loaded with games. Got my mother-in-law a lot of shit. Got my parents that pictures I linked earlier, with some other cookware and motorcycle stuff. My wife got some new clothes, some movies, Cataclysm, books and about $100 in sheet music for the piano. My son just got stuffed animals, clothes and a tummy-time mirror... not much to get for an three week old. :\

Christmas (Thanksgiving) dinner was great, but the turkey stayed on the smoker for longer than we wanted. We brought it in before dinner was server and checked the temp - a solid 170 - but when I cut into the bird I saw a red juice and the meat looked kinda pink. We put it back on for another two hours only to remember that I had it sitting in a citrus brine over night and the juice and pinkness I saw was the brine that absorbed into the turkey. :( The ham was good though.

Kelly and I spent Christmas with my immediate family in Rochester, NY. Brother flew out from Portland, haven't seen him since he moved out there so that was good. Haven't had my parents home cooked food in probably ayear or more. Forgot how delicious it was.

Ended up spending Christmas eve playing board games with the parents, fiancee and brothers and drinking several bottles of Beaujolais.

We got tons of stuff for the house. Got a new watch (I collect skeleton watches). New headphones, gift cards, etc etc etc. My parents still buy christmas presents like my brothers and I are 10 years old...we are all over 27 now.

It was quite a good christmas and hopefully everyone else's was as well

i think my least favorite part of this christmas was that my mom had asked if i could stop by an ABC store (state-run liquor store for you out-of-towners) and get some jameson for my brother-in-law as a gift
rather than be paid back in cash or a check, my mom gave me a gift card in return
it's especially aggravating since the day before i had mentioned how awful giftcards in comparison to direct currency

(note: the giftcard was sent through an e-mail which means she didn't buy it beforehand)
