I agree mostly with Dek's point of view. It sounds like some people don't want dumb threads cluttering the place because they're completionist(or OCD) while others want them as it opens up more oppurtunities for great threads (and bad of course). If things on FUBU have only gotten worse sense changes have set in, maybe we had it right the first time. I motion that we have one more poll to revert all changes (and give Mayo a huge headache) and everyone can just suck it up. The only thing I didn't like was mods renaming threads which has stopped. Other than that I have no real complaints with them.















I actually want to visit them but never do. It just feels so cold there and alone. It's like this section is all warm and friendly and that one is an arctic ghost town.

Again, it all cycles back to choice. No one is forcing you to read the thread, no one is forcing you to watch the videos or read ALL of the content, and no one is forcing you to comment. I mean, the way you put it could be taken one of two ways(A or B). C is simply there because it's an option I'm not sure you were aware of (unless you have OCD as well and it forces you to comment on everything you watch of course). D is the typical FUBU'er, with the obvious exception of skipping threads because there's what? Three people that skip threads they don't like?

A) "Oh this was stupid I'm going to leave a comment informing those who it may concern how dumb this is."
B) "Oh this was great, I'm going to leave a comment expressing my joy of such a treat!"
C) "A wave of indifference washes over me and I shall leave no comment."
D) "I didn't see the video because I don't EVER go to that section despite what it may or may not have to offer and/or I skip the threads that I think will be dumb."

Again Dvergar, you sound like one of the people looking for some sort of High Class board. Well this my friend is Bleeding Hollow. I doubt it. You seem like an ideal candidate for the exclusive forums. I'd almost like to see an exclusive section made for people like you, see how long it lasts, I'm betting it would be just like the current DICKSHIT thread or the Arguement Station. Maybe it would succeed however.

Which brings me to a fresh idea for that sub-section. Why not make a sub-section for those high brow gents, everyone is free to post and read there but that sub-section just has more rules and tighter restrictions for posts, you can call it "Arguement Station 2.0" or "The High Brow Bar & Grill".

Now that I think about it, it almost feels like the arguement station failed so horribly that it was merged here and people are trying to force it's rules and restrictions here. Well I got news for you Arguement Station, you're a jerk and you'll never win!

2. The High Brow Bar & Grill - No room for dickshit here!
3. FUBU Meta Discussion - Talk about FUBU and your mods.

You guys actively made the decision to both remove the pictureshit from this board and for the mods to not lock those types of threads anymore.

Maybe you should just suck it up because this issue has already been voted upon. Unless there's a legitimate reason (I don't like how the vote turned out isn't one of them, by the way), there's no reason to break precedent.


The mods have to read everything to make sure it isn't NSFW/death threats/complete idiocy/etc.

We pretty much allow everything under the sun here except for incredibly retarded content and shit that's downright illegal. If you can't handle that then maybe this site isn't the place for you.

That being said, it's a lot easier to filter picture threads since the majority wanted it like that as opposed to a board that would literally split FUBU in half.

It doesn't seem like it's just me. Seems like it's alot of people who aren't happy. I can deal with it as is, I don't care. Not like I'm afking rage punching a hole in my wall or crying my eyes out.




First off, I'm not arguing about the content of the posts or even the way the mods do their job. I'm arguing for where we can post and how the board is setup.

Anyways, your point is invalid because regardless of where we post it on the site, the mods are going to "have" to read it. So it shouldn't matter where we post it with a few exceptions.

Speaking of splitting in half, with it as current, it looks split in half or possibly even thirds.

Given I see no real parameters for what has to go into each thread with the exception of a few topics. I've just always assumed that the lolcatshitlarp thread was for silly stuff and you weren't allowed or supposed to post it elsewhere. I have noticed however that that doesn't seem to be the case. I would just like some clarification as to which thread is for what type of stuff and the rules for each of those threads(with the exception of meta because that one is pretty well explained).

Am I allowed to post silly stuff in the general section if I feel I must have views now and just post it in the larpshit thread if it's something I feel is worth a laugh but nothing to rush over to see?

Again, based on your counter arguement that the mods "have" to read everything and they are they only ones who really have to, it shouldn't matter where I post my material as others should just learn to ignore my threads or skip topics/videos they're not interested in and just take a 99% complete.

If I remember correctly, the idea of making the Lolcat Shitfest board passed by a common vote. Merging the boards isn't going to happen, mainly because this was already voted upon by your peers and we're not going to keep on having votes until you get things the way you want them.

If I knew how to make sub-boards then I'm completely fine with doing that. I've said multiple times that I'm not too proficient in the actual code of websites and basically whenever I've asked for help to get the changes that people want, everyone suddenly goes silent.


Its easy, really. "Hey I found this on 4chan XD" goes to Shitfest, butthurt tirades about how this site is worthless goes in Meta, and everything else goes in FUBU. I don't ask a lot of you guys, its just some semblance of organization in this sea of piss.

EDIT: I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make board FAQs on each board to avoid further confusion.
