<Deliciously Trashy> is now opening initial recruitment!

<Deliciously Trashy> is a newly formed raid guild on Bleeding Hollow. We will raid 25-mans when numbers permit; until we can fully form raids in-guild, we will pug, or run dual 10-mans.

Raid times are Monday through Wendsday, 7-11pm.

Initial recruitment will take place on from now until midnight Monday, January 10th. Individuals who apply at that time will at our discretion receive Raider status; apps thereafter will go through the typical Applicant process. Guild raids will commence the next reset.

We are recruiting all classes and specs, and are also recruiting for leadership positions.

<Deliciously Trashy> will be doing loot by discretion. If pugs are present, loot will be done by /roll on pieces not locked to guild. Future 25-mans hosted by me will be done in-guild. All BoEs and the last two items out of any six a 25-man boss drops will be locked to guild. This is done to incentivize players to apply, with the long-term goal of producing a more consistent and stable raid team to push progression.

Why 25-mans?
<Deliciously Trashy> will be pursuing a 25-man guild structure because a 25-man structure allows for much greater stability and flexiblity than a 10-man guild.
So far as loot is concerned, the greater number of total drops and raiders in 25-mans serves to prevent RNG from providing the raid with entirely useless loot.
In a 25-man, each individual raider is a smaller percentage of the whole, meaning the guild is more reliable as a going concern. It is much easier to rotate individual players in and out, meaning the guild will have less downtime than a 10-man guild easily held up by the loss of one player, and that raiders will spend less time on the waitlist that they would in a 10-man structure.

I didn't see a description of the loot system once 25 guild members are in the raid. Or maybe I missed it. Will it be council?

That might be true if the bosses weren't capable of dropping duplicate gear. We have seen 3 or 4 bosses drop duplicate pieces the last two weeks.

Good luck forming the guild though!
Having quality people, like you do, to start the guild makes it look that much more promising.
