So I tried this new one tonight, ORIGINAL FROM MUNiCH.

I could smell it from 4 feet away when I took the cap off.

It tastes pretty decent though. I recommend it to any fans of Beck's or Heineken.

Ever try this? I hear reports that it's exported to most US states now.

I know it isn't some rare microbrew but I've been drinking the hell out of Sam Adams Winter Lager.

This is my kind of thread.
La Fin Du Monde is pretty good.
It's a bit light for me but I have friends that love it.
You can find that at about any beer store in the area.
Unibroue makes another beer called "Trois Pistoles" that is better than "La Fin Du Monde" imo.

I should preface the rest of my beer preferences by saying that I drink, almost exlusively, IPA's.
The problem with that is after drinking them for so long, everything else tastes like water.
Light beers, stouts, etc...all just taste like water. If you are a fan of IPA's you know exactly what I mean.

My beer choice of the week shall be my favorite of all time:
Ruination IPA
Image

Made by Stone Brewing Company (probably the best brewery ever with a few close in the running)
Their regular IPA is great too but if you are looking for a real punch in the face, get Ruination

I'm with Henq in that Tres Pistoles is a pinch better then La Fin Du Monde.

If you really like Spaten, Rathmoon, you should look for this (I haven't seen it in the states, but its hands-down the best lager I've ever had).

As for my beer of the week, I'm probably going to have to go with one of my favorites:

PS Henq: I had the Stone IPA last week and I liked it, but I wasn't impressed with it (mainly because I've had a bunch of their other beers and they were phenomenal). What's the difference between the Stone and the Ruination IPA?

Pretty sure ruination is about twice as strong/bitter.
Not to mention that it comes in 22oz. bottles. I have actually only seen them in a six pack in Ocean Township, Jersey at Wegmans.

If you want another list of some good IPA's:
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA (60 is too weak, 120 is too strong)
Three Floyd's Dreadnought
Southern Tier IPA (Southern Tier Brewing) or Southern Tier Double IPA
Commodore Perry (Great Lakes Brewing)
Great Divide Titan IPA
Crooked Tree IPA
Mad Hatter IPA
Smuttynose IPA
Double Dog IPA
Snake Dog IPA

Those are just the ones off the top of my head. I am sure there are more that I love but I am running into a telecon atm.
My advice: If there is a Havana House near you, go there and do their six pack mixer deal. Get one of each, 10% off each, then spend a night raiding and drinking each.
I have been drinking IPA for years and I Can make it through 4-5 of them before I can't walk anymore.

My favorite IPA is probably Victory's Hop Wallop (http://victorybeer.com/beers/hop-wallop/), followed by Stone. I'm only like 30min from the Victory brewery and the restaurant attached is incredible. I'd highly recommend that anyone who lives around the Philadelphia area gives it a try. :D

If you like the Commodore Perry, you should get the Lake Erie Monster. Last time I checked you were in Cleveland and iirc they start selling it in the spring. I also noticed that you got into some of the Flying Dog brews and I just want to warn you about Raging Bitch. I got it on recommendation and it was honestly one of the yeastiest beers I've ever had (In retrospect, it may have been an unfiltered bottle, I didn't really check when I started drinking it).

Bell's Hopslam

I'd suggest finding out what day it comes into your stores, because that's what I had to do here to get it. Otherwise it sold out on me.

It's also an IPA for you IPA nerds.

I was going to post a picture of some Beast or Natty Ice but I just couldn't bring myself to be that much of a douchebag.

La Fin du Monde is fantastic. I'm partial to Sam Adams in bars because it's cheap, and I like Red Stripe when I can find it.

I've been drinking this delicious variation of cat piss from a macrobrewery in the Midwest. It's got hints of sorrow and an airy self-hatred that you can pick up from a few feet away.

You should go drinking with my former boss.

Also, a favorite, especially during cold weather -
