What are some boss mechanics you like and wanna see more of? Or what are some boss mechanics you wanna see?

I've always wanted to see a 25 man raid get split into 2 10s and a 5 or 3 5s and a 10 for a boss. One of those rediculously big bosses with multiple limbs that need to be fought at the same time. Like the size of the creatures in Vash'jir.

Or a raid where multiple teams would have to progress to unlock the way for each other. Fighting their own seperate bosses and ultimately merging to fight the final boss.

1. Gothik says hlooooooooo.

2. Thorim says hi as well.

And I'd like to see more Mimiron-esque fights. That was the best Ulduar boss by far IMO.

I wanted scale. An instance the size of AQ40 and bosses to match.

Thorim was for what, 2 and a half minutes tops?

Gothik doesn't count because you probably didn't do the old one and the reincarnated version is doable with half a raid.

The concepts were still there, though. Sure, they're not tailor-made for his specifics, but they're still in the game.

GM controlled bosses.

i've always liked portal bosses in dugeons/raids etc.

always disliked heavy aoe damage fights that force you to take certain healers over others.

Cthun (and his evolved form, Yogg). Uh... Twin Emps were good too.

A lot of the Naxx bosses in their original forms were pretty decent. I always enjoyed DDR and the guy with the positive and negative poles (sorry, brain fart, can't remember his name).

Can't speak to any TBC bosses or early WotLK bosses really, I only experienced them while overpowering them. Ulduar seemed like a great instance though.

Ahh right. Of course my favorite part of that fight in Vanilla was that it would overload all the toaster computers in the raid and at least 5 people would DC, and we'd have to call audibles to have them assassinated mid-fight.
