I'm really getting tired of this. I know I live in Western Mass, and we should be prepared, blah blah blah, but I have things to do today, and I can't now. All the freezing rain/sleet/snow that's supposed to come in later this afternoon is just going to be icing on the cake, and yes, pun intended.

Oh yours is actually snow? Over here in eastern MA it's wintry mix and freezing rain, which I hate. Snow I like.

I'm taking the bus to campus. It's really not that bad. Prior to coming to MA when I also transferred to BH, my only experience with snow was at Donner Summit. The crisp weather here has grown on me.

What I didn't appreciate is that my building didn't turn up the heat all weekend when it was 10-15 degrees outside so my apartment was freezing, then they finally turned it up last night as it warmed up, so my apartment was sweltering.

Stupid building managers. I can't wait to move.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. They keep my leaky apartment so hot, below-freezing air is a relief. I don't get it.

Oh, it was snow all morning. We probably picked up 3 inches between 730 and 1130, and now it's freezing rain, which is going to ice over later, and generally cause a mess.

However, I work at a YMCA out here, and we stayed open during last week's blizzard, and we're closing for this crap. It make me furious.

I hate the snow.

I guess I live in the wrong part of the US.

We were going to take the kids up to the mountains to see the snow this weekend, but it was so beautiful and warm that we decided to stay home and hang out at the beach/park. Today it is in the low 80s and we're going to the beach after I pick up the kids from school. It is nice :)

When I went to prep school the winters were always very difficult for me to adjust too. It would either be sweltering inside or an icy tomb. Nothing in the middle. My nasal passages hated me during those years. I like to visit the snow, but I never want to live with it again.

Its a bit warm today. like low to mid 20's. Only because its snowing though, and that tends to warm things up a bit.

Freezing rain and sleet along the coast... good times.

Sleet today. Puddles of gray sludge everywhere, poorly cleared sidewalks, subway delays, and me forgetting my umbrella (which wouldn't have survived the Newark wind anyway) contributed to a wonderful morning.

I got an ankle-deep puddle of freezing rain water to brighten my trip home from work.

I wonder how far over budget the state and local cities are with snow removal costs here.

Ugh, so jealous. We had 4 inches of snow and 20 degree weather last tuesday and most of wednesday morning, and by wednesday evening it was 40 degrees out and everything had melted :(
