Step back, there's science in this shit.

So we pointed Voyager 1's instruments back at the precise location of Earth, and detected some kind of anomaly in the readings. There seemed to be interference in the electromagnetic spectrum and in space-time itself.

After conversion to visible light, it looked something like this:



After careful examination of the data, we've determined that Aestu's ego can be seen from the outer edge of the solar system, and is even interfering with the EM spectrum and is close to causing a rip in space-time itself. If it continues to grow, it could collapse the fabric of space-time and form a black hole. The Earth would be located within the event horizon of said black hole, and all matter would be reduced to atoms as it descends towards the singularity.

Please think of the children.

NB4 Long-winded Aestu rant about how you're wrong because "everyone knows" that his ego perfectly balances subspace by creating a gravitational/electromagnetic effect that shields the Earth from extraterrestrial influence. Due to the tachyons released because of this gravimetric bubble, nothing new can be introduced into it. Anything new, different, or out-of-phase is deflected because reality won't/doesn't agree with it.

The only downside Aestu sees in his benevolent protection of the rest of us inside his bubble is that it puts the rest of the universe at a competitive disadvantage.

I think the real question is, what would happen to reality/ the space-time continuum if Aestu were to admit he was wrong about something. I shudder to think of the consequences.

The real question is: What if he were suddenly cursed to be as right as he thinks he is?
