The Spanish Inquisition was an event that occurred 500 years ago and is far removed from present-day experience.
You might as well ask whether contemporary Jews are still stinging over any of the other innumerable misfortunes that Jewish people have suffered through history. Are Jews today still raging over Jerusalem getting nuked by the Romans in 130? The world still lives with the long-term repercussions of that event, but no one really
identifies with it (unless you're one of those Hasidim who spends all day crying at the Wailing Wall).
The myth of the blood libel is not something specific to a place or time but a vicious slander that has been perpetuated about the Jews throughout history and to some extent endures to this day. There are still many Christians who believe the Jews bear collective responsibility for killing Jesus and even the pope prevaricates about the matter because the issue is just that contentious.
