I'm already sold on trying it, but as most of these games have failed to hold my attention close to a month I can't promise I'll be staying. However this one looks... impressive.

It's bioware so the storytelling will most likely be stellar. But like most MMOs that are not WoW, I'd put money on end-game being stagnant. Although they do have like a couple of galaxies to work with for content. Who knows.

It's Bioware, so of fucking course I'll be playing it. I am a rampant/hardcore fanboi of both Bioware and Starwars, and the Old Republic era is by far my favorite.

Republic or Empire?

(I am going Republic, you would have to have a gun to my head irl to make me not roll a Jedi Consular. I will also /weep irl if Togruta don't make the cut for playable races.)

edit: I'd kill for Nautolan too

Would the game be pointless if you don't know any background information on Star Wars? I've never seen any of the movies, it's never interested me. The game looks fun, but if you need to know anything about it then I guess I wouldn't.

I hate movies. There are very few movies I'll watch, and Star Wars doesn't even come close. I haven't watched a movie in a long time. Movies never interested me, especially having to go to the theater to pay an insane price for something I don't find fun.

i'm torn on it. the gameplay actually doesn't look like anything special at all, but i figure if enough bros say it's good then i'll defo look into it.
