I mean don't get me wrong, I think hockey players are pretty physically athletic and what not.



but the sport is popular in Canada. just like curling, and igloo building.

Football is a soap opera for men. T.O., Ochosinkingcareero, Favre, it's just endless drama punctuated by boring games. You don't get that kinda crap in Hockey because those guys have to answer for what they say. Mouth off and you'll be picking some teeth up off the ice. Football is just getting more and more emasculated by the season. Prima donna players under-performing for ludicrous contracts and crying when someone hits them. Football's only saving grace is that it's not basketball.

And really, running, that's the skill? The only skill position in football is the quarterback, and half the time that skill is just handing the ball to the guy standing next to him. Everyone, every single player on a hockey team needs to be highly skilled in a very dynamic non-stop environment and do it while on skates. And no, not every football player is a fattie, but have you see the picture of Albert Haynesworth? That guy had a contract for what, 100 million and he reports to camp looking like that? Football is a terrible sport and Americans only watch it because that's what they're supposed to do.
