I think I posted this before, but I dreamed that I could fly. It felt so real. I flew up until the earth below me was nothing but a beautiful mixture of blues and greens. However, flying was not without some effort, and as I tired, I flew down to land and rest. As I neared the ground, I noticed it was nothing but jagged, razor-sharp rocks and needle-like vegetation. I looked helplessly for a place to land. Finding none, and running out of strength, I flew as high as I could until the jagged earth became beautiful again. Finally, I closed my eyes and stopped flying. I woke up as I was falling. One of the few dreams I've had in the past many years that I did not realize I was dreaming very early on. It was quite vivid.

Flying dreams are fairly common. I have those, sometimes. It's more like swimming in the air to me, though.

Sometimes I don't dream at all, or if I do, I don't recall it. Those are pretty good nights.

Sometimes I dream about past events. They generally aren't pleasant dreams.

The worst dream I have is recurring. I dream something is pulling me out of bed, but I can't see what it is because it's dark. Sometimes it's trying to pull me out of the room, sometimes it's trying to pull me under the bed. One of two things happens: I either freak out and wake up screaming, or the dream gets weird and instead of being frightened I feel rage, and whatever it is doesn't have to pull me anymore, because I'm advancing on it. It doesn't let go, but it stops pulling. It tries to get away. I don't know what it is, but I know that it's afraid of me. It is always very vivid. I wake up sweaty and angry. It usually carries over for a good part of the day when I chase it.
