Actually, yes, you did get free repairs.

After first interrupting a raid, you were told to be on at 11PM after the raid to receive gold for the largely worthless odds and ends (WotLK eternals and ore) you offered us without solicitation.

You weren't on.

The next day, you again interrupted the raid, then proceeded to troll and argue with raiders while we were doing progression.

You were then gmuted.

11PM rolled around again and you weren't on. You logged on about 30m later, when I was in an instance.

I then mailed you your gold.

You got repairs (moot point since you didn't level your in-guild alt) and you got gold for the worthless crap you dropped in our gbank.

Why would you ask for money after donating mats to the guild bank?
Is there a policy where you are required to contribute something to the guild bank, and then be paid for it?
If not, this seems pretty ridiculous.

Grats on the success so far!
I would suggest, in the future, not being surprised when a known server troll, annoys your guild after joining.

We got 4/6 1/2 done on Tuesday and that was good. Then tonight we spent four hours wiping to Chimaeron. Best attempt was 600kish. Press on...

I wasn't. It played out exactly as I expected.

I've gotten around quite a bit, and learned a few things. Amongst the things I've learned is that to be a successful GM, you have to be able to make use of flawed people. Even very flawed.

You didn't answer my question: Are you looking for casuals to fill out achieves? I don't even want anyone paying for my repairs (I've always taken care of that myself), I just want some people to /g with for good times.

This isn't how it happened.

Since I'm dumping my alliance bank alt, I got a ginv from Zaryi (to have a guild tag for my last couple days on alliance) and started talking to people in guild about buying my saronite in bulk. You chimed in and told me to just dump it in the guild bank and I would be compensated. I did so. A couple hours later I logged in and without saying anything, you told me to be back on at 11.

Quote:

I logged on the next day and the second I logged we started having this conversation (I really I screenshotted it, and this is entirely from memory, but you get the jus of it).

Brulesrules (my bank alt): AY WERE MY MUNNY AT
Aestu: You weren't on yesterday after the raid, so shut up.
B: If only there was some way for you to deliver gold to me while I wasn't on. We should make it, we'll make millions.
A: I didn't want to mail you gold only to be bitched at about it later.

Then Euphonic called me retarded and we started talking about aids 5 minutes later, which then you decided to gmute me.

You can have some of your apparently well-known ragefests whenever you guys don't clear shit, that's fine. However, maybe you should've picked another irish housewife to batter, considering I've never done you wrong and have gone out of my way in the past to make your stay here comfortable.

Al the problems could have been avoided if you were in a given place at a given time as you were told. I wanted to trade you the gold so there wouldn't be any bitching after the fact about how much I was willing to pay for your crap.

I haven't logged on my alt yet, but thanks for letting me know that I'm apparently getting shorted. Then again, I suppose its my fault for assuming we actually had a civil relationship.

Don't expect any more favors.

PS: The irony of all of this is that I got gmuted for something that you specifically told me it was ok to do, so long as it was in guild chat and not in trade.

Not to belittle your contribution, it is always generous to give without expecting something in return (thought maybe this is not that case)...but is saronite worth more than the vendor value? I probably would have just vendored it

About once a week I go through the first couple tabs of the HS guild bank (which is ffa to all members) pull everything out and 99% of the time just vendor it.
This could have something to do with the fact that the guild bank is not overflowing with cash and I end up resupplying it with my own cash much of the time when big expenses are incurred (making cauldrons this week).

I would've too until I've seen it rollercoaster up to 80g/stack on frequent occasions.

Also, I'd like to stress that it wasn't given, it was sold.

You got your gold and repaid me by badmouthing me in a promotional thread.
Doesn't seem like much of a favor.

At the very least you could have taken your gold and moved on.
