If you really MUST have the "Sent from tappa talk blah blah" on your posts, just put it in your sig and disable it. It's really annoying reading your posts.

It's like my post here

and then I'm upset that I read that extra text yet again instead of relevent material.

so please, put them in your sig.

I turned off the "Sent from my iPhone" not even 2 days ago because I thought it was kind of douchey, I take the time to write a proper email and if I can't I just wait until I'm at a PC. Anyways, on Friday I wrote an e-mail on my phone to my 8 person group for a class project really quickly, just a one liner. It had a bunch of typos, misplaced periods and was slightly inappropriate regarding the purpose of the assignment so I just canceled it and didn't fix any typos. I don't know if I re-wrote it again or if there was a draft that I re-opened, but I went out on Friday and got quite non-sober to the point where I don't remember certain events. In the wee hours of Saturday morning I sent it, if my phone signature was on it wouldn't be too bad because typing on a phone you know. Even when I'm drunk I still type/text extremely coherently, but it wasn't so I just look like an irresponsible alcoholic. I am fine with that too I guess, the email wasn't bad at all.

Also my professor was CC'd on the e-mail. Like a boss.



tldr; Probably doesn't really matter for these forums, but it's not the worst thing in the world to have, my phone's email signature is back on.

Anyway, back when blackberries were an actual business tool, signing your emails with "Sent from my Blackberry" was a polite way of telling the recipient "Listen, I may not be able to write a full email right now, but I'm acknowledging the importance of your email with this reply, even though I may not have all the information readily available in front of me at this time"

Surely that applies here, does it... not.
