Only jumping I saw was the "leap" off of a ledge when the bandits were attacking the farm.

Another 50 minutes of video, has the same stuff as the other 3 part vid. No announcer minus introduction so you can hear game sounds as they happen.

36:35 to see the full map and all of its glory

Guild Wars vs WoW

GW Launch: 2005 (no sub/going to add all the cash shop items and quest/pvp addons)
WoW: 2004 (going to add 6 years of a sub @14.99/month and comparable cash shop)

GW Box price for Prophcies, Faction, Nightfall, GW:EN = 49.99 x 3 + 39.99 x 1 = 189.96
WoW Box price for Vanilla, TBC, LK, CATA = 49.99 x 4 = 199.69

GW Addons: 4.99 x2 + 9.99 + 19.99 = 34.97
GW Cash shop: 4.99 x10 + 9.99 x 5 + 14.99 = 99.85
WoW Cash shop: 10 x 5 + 25 + 15 + 10 + 25 + 35 = 160
WoW, 6 year sub: 72 (6x12) x 14.99 = 1079.28

Totals:

Guild Wars: 327.78
World of Warcraft: 1438.97

b2p ftw

:D

Free to play is a horrible paradigm and always will be.
There is no such thing as a free lunch - or game.

An upfront subscription fee means the game can be run as a going concern without being designed around microtransactions or however else the game makes its money. It is not possible to make an excellent game that is larger than the sum of its parts based on the free-to-play paradigm.

Oh, I'm glad you shared your thoughts on the semantics of 'Free-to-play', because for a second there I was totally thinking the game was free for everyone involved and not that it had anything to do with the lack of subscription fees.

Thanks.

Guild Wars isn't free to play. You have to pay for the game.

League of Legends is free to play. You don't have to pay anything to play, but you do have to pay for champion skins or champions you don't want pay for with in-game currency.

When that thief dodged forward, ending up under that tree monster... well this was my face:

Apparently I'm the only one a little awestruck by the idea of this sort of cliche dragon killing move though.
