You're in college and just learning about covalent bonds?

To think, Canadians seemed somewhat advanced in comparison to us. I shall think no more.

I'm sure it's way more complex in college then just the definition of covalent bonds and an example or two.

Unless I'm horrible at hearing sarcasm in text, this is a huge possibility.

I'm only in first year, it's very simple.

I'm still repeating what I learned in highschool /snore

Although, we're going to be spending a very long time on covalent compounds so I should be learning some new things.

Oh, I thought you meant you were just learning about covalent bonds. I was gonna say, I learned that shit in junior high.

America.

I actually attended a junior high as well, one of very very few in Ontario.

The highschool has been expanded to accomodate the grade 9s now and I'm not sure if they're making that school grades 6-8 or just making it an elementary school.

The actual elementary school is right beside it so who knows, they could just treat it like a second building.

Why is Canada always so complicated?

Who knows, but I didn't quite finish that post:

Anyway... I remember learning dumbed down things about many of the sciences in grade 9, including covalent bonds.
Then you continue on and they're like "remember when we told you X, yea that's wrong and we just told you that to make it easier"

Like the notion of ions only being stable with full electron shells, LIES!
