Whatever happened to it? I'm hearing things like it's just baseline for casters now or that certain specs have it but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

As a side note apparently fire mages still have to spec for the spell pushback reduction?

Well that's obvious.

I just need to know if I should QQ more or if it's the same just baseline.

Well that's what I found.

So now I'm curious why fire mages have the talent for it.

As far as I know with 70% pushback resistance and one of the 30% auras you have 100% resistance, so why they have a talent that gives 70% pushback restance is wierd.

I just tested this on my various caster alts. Baseline pushback effects are 0.5s added to a cast, up to a total of 1s per cast (ie. 2 pushbacks per cast). Pushback resistance decreases this by 70% (ie. 0.15s per hit up to 0.3s). All classes except mages seem to have innate pushback resistance. A mage with Burning Soul has reduced pushback like other casters, one without gets baseline pushback. Concentration Aura and Earth Shield eliminate pushback when coupled with 70% resistance. The weird one was priests, where Mind Blast has baseline pushback but all other casts seem to have resistance. I didn't test all possible spells for every class, but this is the only exception I noticed.

Also, this doesn't seem to be affected by spec. My warlock, paladin, and druid have no talent tree selected.
