wouldn't that be where the teacher is told "hey, during snack time make sure to check for that shit" ?

if your teacher can't decide whether or not a snack has peanuts in it, fuck they shouldn't be teachers.
Aye, but what if the kid brings some homemade thing in, and doesn't think it has peanuts in it, and the teacher then looks at it, and can't tell (maybe the peanuts are all mashed up or something)? Also, foods (like peanuts) are sometimes used as flavoring in the process - so you wouldn't see something in that case if it was cooked in peanut oil or something. Again, she's crazy allergic.
I see your guys' point though - and maybe the school should consider alternatives - maybe if they make a list of "acceptable snacks" for snack time, and anything else is not allowed. The point is, the little girl should not be prevented from being in the school (which is what the parents are protesting for). Perhaps the administration just needs to think of more creative solutions to the problem.
The fact that the parents are picketing for this little girl with a disability to be removed from school because their little shit kid can't have snack time is what grinds my gears about the whole thing.
