I have done all of the above without blinking an eye though if the person is good or a friend I'll let them heal to full (risky since most people just use that time to run away). The only one that ever really bothered me is interfering with a 1v1. I try to avoid doing that and have more then once watched a member of the Horde die and then saluted the Alliance. Sometimes if I'm doing it to make the Horde bro mad I'll spit on them when they die and then laugh at them.

Jumping in on one of my 1v1s and then forcing me to die or not kill who I was trying to kill is a sure way to get camped, hell, even if I kill both of them I'll switch focus to the dishonorable bro.











I always show challenger and if I don't have it normally I show Jenkins and/or am in Miller Time. Sup.

I'll concede that 2-3 can be gray areas. Many people will use rez time to run away, and the hilarity of interrupting an escort quest is compelling.

However, ganking people while they are engaged with several mobs (sometimes elites)? How is that any different than being a puss-wanker who jumps into a 1v1 battle?

If I see someone fighting a bunch of mobs, I'll wait til they are finished...hell I'll even help them.....THEN I will start attacking them. Far more honorable IMO. Especially think of what a lame move it is if the mobs happen to have some sort of stun.

If you are a true PvP-pro, you shouldn't need the aid of mobs or other PvPers to take down anyone.

I just automaticly assume (almost always correctly) that they would die to me anyways and the mobs just help speed up their death so I can get in and out before the rest of the people I ganked group up and hunt me down.

Whether to just me or to me and 5 mobs, a death is a death. If anything it makes them rage harder which is a plus for me.

As I said though, if someone has proven themselves to be a skilled player I will take the honorable route and I prefer not to jump in to equally matched 1v1s.

I suppose we just look at the situation differently. You have more of a pure-ganker mindset.


It does frustrate me when I'm on my priest and fighting a bunch of mobs (which if you've played a priest you know it can be a challenge) trying to finish a quest in a timely manner....and then an asshat comes over and decides to mow me down. If said asshat waits til I kill all the mobs, that's one thing...but jumping in while I'm fearing and bubbling and doing my thing (not to mention I may not even know that asshat is there because they drop down from the sky)?


I look at it this way...even if in a straight up battle...let's say the guy is pro, and my victory chance is only 20%...it dwindles to 0% if I'm engaged with other mobs. The horse shit of it is that the ganker is purely taking advantage of the situation and eliminating any possibility that they could lose which is a pussy move.

If you're truly better than me, then why not fight me when I'm at my best? Doesn't that make the victory sweeter? What's better - beating Jesse Owens' immobile corpse in a footrace or beating Usain Bolt at the top of his game?

I guess I'm different though...I like a challenge. Most people in this game nowadays want EZ mode...so they gank people who are in situations where they have no chance of winning.

Another thing you have to realize is a lot of people don't like down time, as soon as they're done fighting one mob they attack another.

I enjoy a challenge but Joebob in quest greens isn't going to give me a challenge and kill him faster just means I'm less likely to get attacked by other alliance douches.

My goal when I gank normally isn't always just to kill. I like to infuriate to the point of them raging at me. Maybe this makes me a bad person but it's funny to me to see someone get so mad over a video game. If I see someone struggling with a quest I might try and kill them just before they can finish just to upset them.

The best fights are the equal fights but those are so far and few =/

In short, when I kill someone with lots of mobs on them, it's to make them want to find me. It's my calling card and when they come knocking, I'll knock harder.

Fair enough. If you see me questing though, please wait til I finish with a mob before raping me and I will be very appreciative

Beats me. I remember when out of the blue someone added a "notable players" or "popular players" or whatever the shit it was, which said "Yuratuhl, Ennkay." This was early BC, I think.

It was put up by neither me nor Ennkay. I still don't know who decided we were apparently the most iconic nerds on BH.
