I don't think I've ever really been stressed out. I thrive on pressure.

Exercise helps a lot, but weed kind of puts down the motivation for that.

Really just eliminate the shit that stresses you out. I know it's easier said than done but start figuring out ways to do it, or just say fuck it.

I've also started exercising as a means of losing weight, and I've definitely noticed feeling better emotionally and more stress free.

I find that eating more real food and less processed food really helps.

Cereal, pasta, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, veggies, etc, really improves mood.

I buy goat cheese and Turkish Delights at a local Turkish store and eat them with crackers. Shaws often has large quantities of high-quality cheese in the clearance fridge. I eat real baked bread, not mass-produced loaves, and I put butter on it, not margarine. I eat whole wheat flakes, not Corn Flakes or other processed cereals.

Cheap Indian/Thai/Vietnamese food also improves mood much more than cheap Chinese food.

Also, drink less soda and more seltzer and juice.

Another excellent way to improve mood is lucid dreaming, but not everyone has that capability. Lucid dreaming = sandboxing irl.

This is very true, my girlfriend has been bugging me since forever to start eating more organic and wholesome food. I've more or less cut WAY back on Fast Food but haven't yet outright eliminated it completely.

Organic food tastes much better, too.

I don't believe in organic food. There is no scientific basis to "organic food" - the term means nothing.

I prefer the term "high-quality" or "unprocessed" food because that's what it is, and there's a scientific basis to it: the human body best handles the foods it's been designed to process. Taking it to the extreme, compare eating a banana to taking Centrum pills. And I definitely believe there are cumulative long-term effects to eating poor-quality processed food.

"High quality/low quality" vs "processed/unprocessed" can be objectively measured; "organic" can't.

Funny, I thought 'organic' meant it was composed of carbon and hydrogen.

I like how we live in a society that redefines terms into nebulous concepts that allow almost anything to be labeled almost any way.

It can be. There are fairly stringent guidelines as to what food can be labeled organic and what can't. And you both look like idiots arguing semantics on this one; it's fairly well known what people mean by organic food nowadays.

Agreed, because it took about 5 seconds to find this:

http://usda-fda.com/articles/organic.htm

But don't worry, once the nutjobs get rid of all government programs you'll not only see 'organic' on everything, but you'll also get the pleasure of consuming all kinds of low-cost carcinogenic materials, isn't deregulation fun?!?
