Um, just to correct my mention in the OP - I wasn't calling out anyone who wouldn't serve as pussies... I was just saying that the populace (in general) is becoming pussified. We're too worried about hurting other people or their feelings. We're too worried about making friends with our enemies rather than defeating them. I think the military could teach a lot of people how to become stronger, have greater respect, order and responsibility... or, in short, to make them not be pussies.

This country is full of pussies anymore. Conscription would either fail because of those pussies being pussies, or it would makes this country stronger by teaching our youth to not be pussies. In either way, I'm for it.
Just so I'm clear though, you're
not saying that people who don't serve are pussies...you just think they would cease to be pussies if they served, because the military would mold them into hardened dicks?

In all seriousness, you are stating that having everyone serve in the military would make everyone less pussifiied. Probably true. If you go through military training, you do become more of a badass. Militaristic societies are inherently full of badassery (See: Sparta) However, you seem to also be implying that anyone who would rather use diplomacy (or "making friends" with our "enemies") to further America's interests as being a pussy. While some person who just wants to destroy any country that would threaten America enemies is somehow a badass?
To me it seems like you're putting too much value into brawn and not enough into intellect and ingenuity. Truly great nations should how and when to use both effectively; something America has rarely been able to accomplish.
