Then again I personally believe infanticide should be legal.

Not the one I was referring to (if it even exists), though I'm glad you caught a second one. I'm not good at thinking of google search terms, so I can't confirm.

You are correct sir, my apologies. I retract my statement and instead apply it to #1 in addition to my original.

Here's my new #3:

Get the fuck over things that don't affect you (but severely affect those in that situation) in the slightest way you big babies. You absolutely do NOT have to support it, but you DO need to accept it.

You gave a list of "me-centric" points and I'm just showing how entitlements can be spun to be just as "me-centric"...

Quote:
Quote:
"I can't afford things so you should pay more taxes to provide them for me"
1) Nobody ever thought this ever, and if they do they are in the minority.

What's the point of welfare, then? If an individual needs welfare then they're saying that they can't afford something (basic living expenses?) and they need other people (tax payers?) to help them out (aka, foot the bill?).

Quote:
Quote:
"I can't afford healthcare so you should pay more taxes to provide them me"
2) Fair is fair. Make more, pay more because you have benefited more. Taking more from the poor =/= fair no matter how you spin it.

You're right - fair is fair. If I have to pay for my health care then shouldn't someone else have to pay for theirs? If I can afford a nice car than I guess it's only fair that poor people get nice cars, too! Under our current progressive tax system the rich are already paying more in taxes than the poor. That's fair, right? Oh, it's not enough? You want the rich to pay more? How much more? How much more is needed to be paid until it's fair enough for you?

Quote:
Quote:
"I live a lifestyle that you need to accept and support"
3) Again, nobody has ever thought this ever. They would just like some help from their fellow Americans. What, is the GOP not the "patriotic" party anymore? Or does patriotic only mean war (bring it on, we're America!) and self (fuck you, got mine!)? If so, I guess you really are the patriotic party.

Yea, my original statement was in reference to you talking about Republicans forcing their opinions of gays. The irony is that whole discussion is a two-way street. While you say people are forcing their opinions on Gays on everyone... aren't the Gays forcing their opinion of themselves on everyone in an equal, but opposite, fashion? Fuck, I'm now a 'bigot' or 'homophobe' for saying that. :P

Quote:
Quote:
"I don't want to have a baby so I should be able to kill it if I want."
4) Fact - it's your body, do what you want with it.

Unless you want to kill yourself... or if you want your friend to perform some surgery even though they're not a doctor... or if you want to use a bunch a drugs. I'm not arguing for or against abortion I'm just saying the idea of an abortion is very 'me-centric', too.

Wish I could finish. Meeting time.

Self-negotiated National Guard contracts (then dipping on delivery).

That is all.

How dare they force everyone to recognize that some dudes like other dudes, but that they'll keep the buttsex in the bedroom just like straight couples. Those insensitive faggots.

@ Battle - Huntsman did pretty well in tonight's debate... unfortunately, Romney, Cain and Perry were the guys getting most of the air time. There was one point where the moderator and Romney went back and forth for what felt like five minutes. Huntsman delivered a couple memorable moments which got some laughs but he presented himself very well throughout. He had answers and he stood his ground against Romney on China and the possibility of a trade war. Considering Huntsman's relationship with China, I wasn't surprised that he appeared more knowledgeable. Other than that, his answers (as with everyone elses) were pretty much the same.

So in other words they are all equally qualified apart from the fact that Huntsman's foreign policy blows away the mainstream bombs away mainstream thinking.

Good enough for me.
