My apologies, I was misled by the Paul thread in which you argued in defense of his policies.

If a woman is allowed to leave because of a family responsibility and you aren't, that's not right.
If a woman is allowed to leave and you don't because you don't ask or make other plans to stay, that's your fault not the company's.
I've consistently maintained that libertarianism as a personal philosophy is admirable, but not practical to apply widespread as a means of governing.
And yes, I've informed my boss multiple times of my need to leave *on time* not early to take care of my twin boys. The one time that I left *on time* without permission and against my manager's direction to stay until the freight was finished (easily another 2 hours of work. fuck off lowe's) all while we are completely and totally understaffed. I got written up for this. Not even two weeks later I was written up for leaving a minimal amount of freight that I believed to be new products and was mistaken on one of the department desks. This is the policy to follow if you have new product. Due to the sheer volume of freight levels we deal with, and how almost comically understaffed we are, I absolutely do not have time to dick around looking for a particular item when it could be in Aisle 7, Aisle 8, Aisle 9, an endcap or not even be officially recorded as received yet.
The one time I left *on time*, I was written up. I've told my boss many times that I need to be out by 5:30 AM. What the fuck does he care?
FYI, I am for women having the right to leave as scheduled, I just believe men should also be afforded that right per company policies. That is discrimination, by definition. Spin it however you will.
