No, in reality I think it's great that society considers these people to be outcasts and fucking loonies. I think it's great that people take steps to keep them as far away from funerals as possible when they decide to throw their crazy bullshit around in public.
This is exactly what I was getting at. These people are allowed to have their opinion and because they decide to say shit that makes them look looney, society thinks they're fucking looney. That is the social backlash.

What did I falsely attribute to you?
Quote:
You disapprove of social stigmas
The rest was just false. Social stigmas don't equate to tyranny, there is nothing preventing a person from acting against society's wishes.

How is that different than discrimination based on race or religion?
This is just exceptionally stupid. You might have been able to fashion a weak argument out of religion, but claiming discrimination based on race is the same as discrimination based on saying stupid shit? You should probably take a break from the internet for a while, I think it would do you well.

Again, according to whose standards?
Do you understand the concept of situation as it relates to political correctness? You don't seem to. If you don't understand the concept please ask for clarification instead of asking the same question over and over.

Yes. That is the price of freedom. Accepting things you just don't like.
"I may disagree with every word you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it."
Do I find those anti-gay demonstrators offensive? Yes, but they have the right to be there and do what they're doing. Freedom of speech is predicated upon the belief that a level playing field favors truth.
Nothing about the concept of being politically correct removes a person's freedom.
