Looking forward to pirating this game, because I'm not paying $60 for 2009ish graphics and being forced to sign online for a single player game.

95% of the reason I'm even doing that is because I heard the Witch Doctor can throw jars of spiders.

The jars make a really satisfying breaking sound too. It's almost soothing.

Poison darts and fiery skulls do more damage, unless you rune the jar spell and have it summon a spider queen. Throw one jar per pull and focus other spells. I think you'd enjoy WD, Mayo.

Waiting for Aestu to jump down my throat about pirating a game that he can't stop complaining about.

EDIT: I also saw the zombie tower and the exploding dogs on youtube. Give me all of it.

You have to choose between exploding zom dogs or Soul Harvest. Soul Harvest is a sick multiplier. Run in to a pack, soul harvest, send some fiery bats out, and everything dies.

I'm starting to get pissed at myself for wanting to relate every aspect of Diablo to WoW. Although, because both games are Blizzard made I suppose it's natural.

I'm currently playing a WD with my friends playing a Brobarian + DH.

They do so much DPS that I decided to stack Vit, which has me at just below 5k HP at level 26. Having Spider Queen/Garg/Zombie Dogs out feels to easy mode, so I usually play around with;

Locust Swarm
Haunt
Spirit Barrage
Acid Cloud
Big Bad Voodoo for boss fights
Mass Confusion is rofl
Spirit Walk is amazing
Some of these later level Runes look exciting/OP. Gruesome Feast/Blood Ritual are OP

Normal is too easy up to the end of Act II, Belial is a satisfying fight. Currently starting Act III, hoping Azmodan/Diablo are awesome fights. Can't wait for Nightmare/Hell.

I have a Wizard for solo/leveling with other friends, she's 25 and feels boring in terms of what you have to do, basically another version of Brobarians who just constantly DPS and nuke shit down. Still, Wizard spells look amazing, especially Arcane Orb, IT'S A FUCKIN' SOLAR SYSTEM!

Thoughts?

Don't be a faggot. Also, don't play solo. That's no fun.

Was leveling a Barbarian earlier, got to 37, at which point my brother finally finished his last exam, so we've been trio-ing it up. This go-around I'm a Demon Hunter, fed like hell by all the drops I got leveling the Barbarian.

Gearing seems pretty straightforward, but then again I've only played classes that can equip weapons in their hand slots, no off-hand items or anything like that. Expanded tooltips are a definite must as Eturnal said, for both gear and ability descriptions. Simplified tooltips are the least helpful and generally stupidest idea in the history of gaming. Items with straight damage on them, like rings with 5-10 damage or stuff like that, are exceedingly valuable once your stats are high because of how primary stats work. Since it's a one-for-one percentage multiplier for every point you get, "damage" starts to get enormously attractive once you've got a ton of "stat" accumulated. Like if you've got 500 strength, that's 500% more damage. An item giving you 5-10 more damage is actually giving you 25-50 more damage. Also, until slower weapons start getting more than one socket in them, fast weapons are always better because rubies are static damage increases regardless of speed.

The only think I'm not sure about is how much stock to put in the displayed "damage" number on the character panel as applied to dual-wielding versus two-handers, since it implies that dual-wielding always outdamages two-handers.

I like chocolate truffles and cake, and there's a nearby china store that sells them for super cheap, but I can't bear to buy and eat them because it makes me feel creepy eating truffles and cake alone.

My offer to buy surplus crafted stuff for WoW or GW gold remains good.

Games too easy.

I wonder if Hell and Inferno will be any different, gear scales through each level.

Thought Normal mode gear would suck ass in Nightmare, apparently not.

Disappointing so far in terms of difficulty.

Boss fights are just a "wow!" factor.
