I'm not quitting WoW lol, just (once again) don't have the funds to play this second. I've already got an abundance of alts at high levels even. The only joy that comes from making a new char and leveling again is getting ganked.
Do something productive. Seriously. Read, write, play music, network. If you've been playing WoW for as long as you have and still aren't tired with it, then there's no point in starting up a fresh addiction. Break the cycle by realizing that there's more to a WoW break than the time to play more games.
I say this not to shoot you down, of course. But after quitting WoW, I enjoyed --- and continue to enjoy --- what has been the most productive period of my life thus far. I'm not saying that it'll be the same for you; perhaps you'll get bored and relapse on Warcraft or another MMO. But the options are always there and you should always take them into consideration.
Well I appreciate you input. I wouldn't call it an addiction though, it's just one of the few things I enjoy doing. I don't play 24/7 or anything and I always take time to read or watch shows or workout or do other little things. I was only logging on a few hours when I was playing. So basically I'm looking for something to fill my video game void (that's not really a MMORPG). WoW was the first and hopefully the last (hence my not giving two fucks about any new "WoW killers" coming out. I mean, I've gotten a lot of WoW, both simple fun and complex growth. Hell, without WoW I wouldn't be here, none of us really would.
The first portion of my request was to find a game because my friend is bored of WoW and he wants a neat game we can play in between smash/music/hanging out.
tldr: I take lots of small breaks and do other things, this is just a void in my video game schedule.
All that being said, who's going to RAF me for LoL and what do I get?
