You really don't need to enema (and from what I understand, it can make things worse). The rectum is fairly clean as long as you haven't had a bm recently before intercourse.

start with fingers and/or a small toy to get acclimated. Its about as messy as "standard" intercourse is if your girl is properly aroused/good to go.

You don't have to do any of that, if you don't mind a little mess. We just went for it. I actually enjoyed it a lot, she felt kind of embarrassed about the dirty part. I don't mind at all though.
