It was a mind fuck.
It left me feeling a little sick inside.
Some parts actually got me feeling nervous and even scared.
The boss fight was A+ material even if it is kinda hard on Insanity.
It was probably one of the best side missions I've ever played. It actually had me pondering things after it was all over with.

Why couldn't BioWare do something like this with Dragon Age?

Also, opinions on it if you've played it or opinions on sacrificing one's or a dependent's happiness in order to further science or your own ambition for a greater good. I saved him, fuck Archer.

It was awesome - the story was told well (bioware, derp) and the reintroduction of planetary travel was really fun.

And yes, the last bit was just sick, the poor kid in the machine :(

I just finished the Campaign on Insanity as an Infiltrator.

But for some fucking reason Moradin died! I don't even understand why, I went in to it this time with more (squad and individual) upgrades than I did on my first play through when I got "No One Left Behind".

How the fuck does that make any sense whatsoever?

EDIT: Incoming ME:1 play through to carry choices over into a third play through of ME:2 to carry choices over in preparation for ME:3. Why? Because after beating it on Insanity, I've more or less run out of games that I feel like playing. Tackling Red Dead next.

Yah, I've been meaning to reinstall 1 for a complete playthrough because I apparently missed a few quests.

Been playing Assassin's Creed II though, and it's amgwtforgasmiclyawesome.

edit: w/the mordin thing, I read somewhere that he had a random chance to just croak in the suicide mission, but it could also be that you didn't have enough 'points' left to defend while you smashed the reaper-baby.

I'm so glad you can finally swim in that game.

AC2 was pretty fun. I think my favorite moment was when I discovered you could jump off of a building and assassinate two guards at once. My jaw dropped and I shouted, "Oh my fucking god I'm so bad ass."

Define the points thing? The only difference between this run and the last one I did was I took Garrus and Thane instead of Jack and Thane into the last fight. Though Garrus is pretty bro.

From what I read, Garrus, Grunt and Zaeed all contribute to the survival mechanic of the team you leave to hold off in the form of points. +/- points if they're loyal, so if you take one, the chance that you lose someone raises. Here's the quote:

Quote:
Note: The teammates you do not pick are assigned to hold the line from the Collectors. A 'defensive skill' value is calculated for the 'hold the line' group as a whole, based on a defensive value inherent to each character. Loyal characters gain a bonus to this value. If the 'defensive skill' check is not high enough to ensure all characters' survival, squad members will be designated to die based on their vulnerability, with Mordin taking priority if he is present. Leaving behind strong defenders, such as Grunt, Legion, and Zaeed will increase the group's odds of survival. In contrast, certain characters such as Jack, Tali and especially Mordin have less skill in holding their position and should be removed through escort duty or taken along. The entire group will survive as long as the combined defensive skill is high enough, otherwise the game picks a squad member to die based on the scenario of who was left behind and how loyal the group members are. (Squad members who are not loyal are most likely to survive here than anywhere else, provided the group's collective defense skill is high enough, although they will be the first to die if the skill is not.) Leaving behind two strong defenders like Legion, Grunt, or Zaeed should suffice, provided you haven't lost too many people.

Zaeed + Grunt for pro team of ballers.

Jack can die.

Wow that sucks. Oh well I didn't plan on carrying that play through into ME:3 anyway. I just needed Garrus' Armor Shredding Ammo for the squad because it made the last fight tons easier.

Who would be a better candidate for the escort besides Grunt? I mean come on, he's big and never dies, even on Insanity versus anything but a Scion or 3-4 Husks.

As for favorite characters: Thane and Jack. Thane had a pretty good story to him and Jack was just bad ass in general, especially on my first run when I fully upgraded Shockwave.

Though utility wise as an Infiltrator it was Grunt and Thane or Samara, I liked Thane more because of Shredder ammo though and between Concussive Shot and Warp and my Incinerate/Tactical Cloak, killing anything was pretty easy.

I'm not sure what class I'll play since they may not bring back the re-classing thing. Though I can see the Illusive man killing you or activating something in your body to kill/almost kill you because of that end dialogue if you survived.

What do you think the story will be if you just picked up ME:3? I think he'll betray you because he doesn't need you now that Cerberus has the collector base or something along those lines.

EDIT: Final play through I'm sleeping with Tali.

Grunt and either Tali/Samara/Miranda were my normal team, the 3 girls changed depending on situation.

Sure. It's just hard not to like Zaeed, since he's pretty much Canderous from KotOR only turned up a notch. And Grunt is Grunt.
