Hmm, if what Aqlo says is true, I think I'm going to be dropping dispersion. In a raid setting, I only use it as a mana battery on trash pulls and nothing else. If my damage output would be significantly increased without it, then eff it.
I do like this 31 point talent tree thing though, because they are removing many of the "filler" talents that are simply stupid.
Here's what I was looking at..

This is the spec without Dispersion that picks up Shadow Orbs, and the Apparitions, as well as going 8 in Disc.

This spec has a filler point to max either the orbs or the apparitions, with it being either 2app/2orb or 3app/1orb depending on the movement for the fight.
I think they should nuke a point from imp DP, make it 7/15% and 15/30% instant damage. That way you can pick up both, and dispersion, as well as going 8 into Disc.
The thing with Dispersion is, it's incredibly useful at letting you skip out on raid mechanics. Depending on how the fights are in Cataclysm, that might be a higher dps gain than 2% chance on Shadow Word Pain tick to do 15% of mind blast damage. On the other hand, with Shadow Word: Pain being affected by haste, moving for the raid mechanics might be better than dispersing them.
