This got a giggle from me
I was in a bitchy mood and had just finished grading some papers and editing a book. Plus, it is Aestu. He's an easy target. I love how when he is wrong, he can't accept it.
Aestu, I know we aren't supposed to use facts on the Internet, but I can certainly come to the back of the class and help you if you'd like.
If you change the nouns and verbs in the sentence to something more simplistic, you may be able to see your error more clearly.
"... there is four dogs walking down the street." This would be incorrect. "...there
are four dogs walking down the street" would be the correct way to phrase it.
Please see this article regarding the correct usage of there is/are:

I am wondering how long it will take for our delusional forum personality to tell me I am wrong.
