Is there an online version available, and if there is...couldn't you just take the digital copy to a kinkos or something and have them print it out in the size you desire?
Your Pal,
Jubber
I never thought I'd say this regarding Jubber, but great minds think alike! I had yesterday attempted to do just that. They said no because it was copyrighted, and told me to get permission from the MBTA.

Dear Ethan,
I was forwarded your email. Yes, of course you can reproduce the map for your own use. If your copier needs further approval, have them give me a call and I’ll okay the copy verbally.
Thank you,
Rose Yates

Subject: Dear General Manager Davy: Request Assistance With Maps
Hello there,
As you may be aware, the MBTA no longer produces those large, fully comprehensive, foldable letter-size System Maps. I have been struggling to find one, but in vain.
I am relatively new to Boston, having moved here a couple years ago for college, and I’ve decided I enjoy this city and wish to continue to reside here into my professional life, and want to get to know the city better.
I really wanted a system map so I can have it laminated and put it on my wall to help me plan my outings.
However, upon further research, I discovered those even better PDFs on the MBTA site (so that you may be sure which I am referring to, I’ve included them as an attachment). I decided to visit a local Kinko-FedEx outlet to have them printed and laminated.
I was told that they are not permitted to produce reproductions of copyrighted materials – including system maps – without written permission from the copyright holder: in this case, the MBTA.
My request is simple. Could you please provide me with written permission to have a professional copyist produce a single reproduction of these PDFs for my own use?
Thank you much,
Ethan Farber
